Mimi has been entertaining audiences since 2009 through her captivating performances and sassy Femcee skills on a mic. She began her producing journey under the troupe name Hot Mess Burlesque and continued providing unique shows showcasing a variety of entertainers for each production until 2012 when she stepped into the role of Ms Gay Idaho. As a representative of the queer community it was crucial to her reign to provide funds for charities that were consistently overlooked, such as child care centers and cancer research. In 2016 she teamed up with Muff Jones to create Make ‘em Blush Burlesque and together they saw a need for a performance opportunity that wasn’t directly associated with a troupe. The community stage they provided helped foster dozens of new entertainers over their 7 seasons of 2 shows a month. Providing quality entertainment is a cornerstone of Mimi’s approach to producing and she’s thrilled to team up with Cherish in this next step in her producing career. 

Cherish is the founder of Cherish Belly Dance DBA. She has trained extensively with the pioneers of fusion style belly dance. The highlight of her career has been to perform in Vegas & The Bijou Show with the world renowned master, Jill Parker.  For more than a decade Cherish has entertained audiences around the Capital Region.  She saw a need for performance opportunities & started producing belly dance shows in 2015. After traveling around the country taking workshops & performing, she fell in love with the variety style shows and thought it would be a great way to showcase the amazing talent in her hometown. The Bijou Show was created to showcase professional performers & provide a top-notch experience for the audience.
